Finding Flowers at The National Gallery
Spoiled for art as we are in London, The National Gallery in Trafalgar Square holds some of the most famous masterpieces in the world. It also happens to be a wonderful place to find flowers in frames. There are of course the obvious beauties; Van Gogh's Sunflowers, Monet's dreamy ponds, the Dutch Masters tulips. And there are less obvious places to find them, as additions to portraits, on hats and in hands. Get lost for a while (preferably on a weekday to void the crowds) and find flowers in the paint yourself.
